Driving Hamiltonian in a Quantum Searching Problem

چکیده
We examine the driving Hamiltonian in the analog analogue of Grover’s algorithm by Farhi and Gutmann. For a quantum system with a given oracle Hamiltonian E|w〉〈w|, we explicitly show that while the driving Hamiltonian E|s〉〈s| optimally produces the state |w〉 from an initial state |s〉, the driving Hamiltonian E ′|s〉〈s|(E′ 6= E) does not provide any speedup compared even with a classical computation. Conductance in quantum wires by three quantum dots arrays
A noninteracting quantum-dot arrays side coupled to a quantum wire is studied. Transport through the quantum wire is investigated by using a noninteracting Anderson tunneling Hamiltonian. The conductance at zero temperature develops an oscillating band with resonances and antiresonances due to constructive and destructive interference in the ballistic channel, respectively. Moreover, we have fo...

The quantum dynamics of a charged particle in an infinite chain of single-state quantum wells, in tight-binding approximation and under the action of an arbitrary time-dependent external field is investigated. The connection between the Hamiltonian description of this model and the Hamiltonian of a discrete-charge mesoscopic quantum circuit is elucidated. Based on this connection, the persist...

متن کاملGeneral Hamiltonian for quantum searching with certainty
A general consideration to the Hamiltonian for quantum searching is undertaken in this work. We have established the matching condition to a certaint searching and derived an ideal Hamiltonian. We also show that this Hamiltonian can be resuced to all known quantum searching Hamiltonians. A quantum mechanical algorithm is a complete and straightforward set of directions, based on the quntum phys...
متن کاملAn iterative method for the Hermitian-generalized Hamiltonian solutions to the inverse problem AX=B with a submatrix constraint
In this paper, an iterative method is proposed for solving the matrix inverse problem $AX=B$ for Hermitian-generalized Hamiltonian matrices with a submatrix constraint. By this iterative method, for any initial matrix $A_0$, a solution $A^*$ can be obtained in finite iteration steps in the absence of roundoff errors, and the solution with least norm can be obtained by choosing a special kind of...
